Island Rose: Reflecting on 2023
2023…what a year! I call it my year of “re-birth” and what a pleasure it has been to orchestrate this re-birth with Island Rose! Inspired by the Harkness Rose, which grows on the grounds of the Hamilton Princess, Island Rose has become a fine Bermuda fragrance.
Island Rose smells like the Bermuda morning breeze on a dewy winter and green spring morning. It is exquisite as an Eau de Parfum, Body Lotion, and Luxury Soy Candle. The inspiration of the Harkness Rose, along with the personal and intimate contribution of the owners of Hamilton Princess, created a unique fragrance which is elegant, modern, ethereal, and islandly. I have never smelled a rose like this: fresh, crisp, youthful rose with notes of strawberries, powdery irises and a seductive, long-lasting dry down of white musk and amber.
You can smell the fragrance as you arrive in the lobby of the Hamilton Princess. Not all fragrances are created equal, and this one is loved by everyone… a masterpiece I will cherish forever.
