The Intimate Adventure of Making Your Own Signature Fragrance

During the summer, Lili Bermuda brought back our Perfume Workshops at Stewart Hall, where you can come to make your own signature fragrance. This is an experience that we used to offer before the pandemic, in a different format, and I had so many requests to bring it back.

I love my perfumes, and the greatest challenge was: "how can you teach perfumery and offer a workshop where your guests will leave with something that smells really good... in only 90 minutes?" The "90-minute" criteria was indeed the most challenging one. I am a professional Master Perfumer who spends months developing ONE fragrance, and my clients wish to make their own – really nice – fragrance in only 90 minutes! And of course, because my name "LILI BERMUDA" will be on the bottle, I want to make sure that it will indeed smell very good!

Here's where our workshop is really an amazing experience – we have spent a lot of time and love on this. We made a few "generic" but really nice "base perfumes" for you to start with, that you can personalize completely, and where you are guaranteed that your fragrance will be well-balanced and smell good. Also, we have selected and displayed your essential oils in your perfume organ in levels of volatility – from top to base notes – to give you guidance in constructing your fragrance.

The results so far have been amazing. Our clients leave our workshop with fantastic fragrances, hundreds of new perfume ideas for when they will be able to come back, and a new fragrant vocabulary that includes: Ambroxan, Iso E Super, Ethyl Maltol, and many more... I always insist that you should smell all the weird names – you will discover enchanting new perfume directions.

I am thrilled to be able to offer this experience. Ms. Kirby Bielby and other Perfumers join me in hosting these workshops, which I guarantee will forever change your perception about perfumes – and you will leave with something that smells really good.

Cheers, Isabelle
