I've worked at the Perfumery for five years.
Why do you love working at the Perfumery?
What I love about working at the Perfumery is that I'm involved in helping create a vision; a dream come into existence. Isabelle likes to incorporate the whole team in new projects and it's exciting! I'm hands on with the products - helping with bottling, packaging, selling and testing new products.
What do you love to do on your weekends (or days off) around Bermuda?
I enjoy exploring the island. It's amazing how many nooks and crannies there are that I still haven't seen, despite being born and raised here! I also love spending time with my friends whether that's going for coffee, a beach day or dinner at new places.
What we love about Kirby:
Kirby is a true fragrance connoisseur and aficionados, and has travelled to New York and to the UK to learn more about them. Kirby loves reading about perfumes and discussing them, and she is always very insightful with her comparisons: “Don’t you think this smells like toasty caramel popcorn?”. Of course, we all melted to her sweet comment. Kirby is our only Fragrance Consultant who has ever sold a perfume to someone who had lost his sense of smell. This gentleman had come into our store wanting to buy a fragrance as a gift, and through Kirby’s amazing descriptions, he left with what he knew would be the perfect gift. Kirby is a kind and generous woman who is always eager to assist her customers and her colleagues. We all love her dearly.
